a mod that shows on The Forum Index on like the right-side that shows all Staff Members online
EXAMPLE:

Permissions
Just simply a permission like "Show in Staff Online List" to define which groups will show up in the Staff Online List

Feature Set
Make it if possible where it is only changeable(what groups are set to show in Staff Online) by the group for Admin Account,you know like when you first make the forum and you make your admin account at the end,whatever group that is,make it only customizable by that group please.

Doesn't SimplePortal already have this as a block? (You'd probably need a portal, there's no sidebar in SMF by default)

As Arantor said, this can easily be achieved with a portal block, which you can name 'Staff Online Now' and select which groups to show on the list.

The Staff box is just that... not a "Staff Online" box.

Right side would probably need to be in a portal system.
Otherwise could be done above the who's online area.

O Thanks,Actually kinda wanted a portal too and this is good and well.. Simple  enough for me ^_^  Is there a way it could be copied over though to also show in the forum index?

Portal sidebars can be set up to show just about anywhere...

Mind telling me how? Derp and Also I just noticed it's not 'exactly' what I wanted... It just shows Forum Staff and 'Forum Staff' = People with The er i guess u could call.. OP Rank which is named Site Owner + It doesn't show if there online it just lists them so is there a way I can edit it too show ones Online/All Admins not just Site OPs

EDIT: Figured out how to make it show on Forum Index like I wanted (1) But how do I make it so it shows all admins and not just ops + show only if we're online

EDIT: Derp... Nvm It shows only staff-groups but stil how do I make it only show when there ONLINE? ._.

You could use the 'Who's Online' portal block instead of the staff list. From that block, only select the group you wish to be shown.

SimplePortal 2.3.5 (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1104) I don't see a option to pick which groups will show in the 'Who's Online'

Ah, I see. I'm using Dream Portal (http://www.dream-portal.net) at the moment, and they have that by default.
Try snooping around at Simple Portal (http://www.simpleportal.net) to see if you can find a solution. I've got this (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=10209.msg53685) so far. Hope it helps.

Sadily it didn't but it seems like part of the coding where that portal block for it is would need to be edited to show when only online,any ideas

^ Could someone edit it to show when online only instead of just listing all staff no matter if we're online or offline ._.
