I vBulletin 4.1.12. I use this converter http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=404729.0. I installed smf and threw to the directory where the files from the converter. And when I want to start the conversion gives me an error
"Sorry, the database connection information used in the Specified installation of SMF can not access the installation of vBulletin 4.0. This may mean That Either the installation does not exist, or the Database That account used does not have permissions to access it.
That Was The error received from the Database was: SELECT command denied to user 'root' @ 'localhost' for table 'user' "

You have to add SMF User to vBulletin Database. If you want to make better conversation use one database/user for both SMF & vBulletin.
Ok. It works. I only have bushes as I remove them? And if I can vb files already removed?
I think converter needs some files (to see settings). Never tried
