So I have captcha and everything installed on my forums. However when I came home, there were 130+ new topics of several bots advertising viagra, weight loss pills, and all this other crap. Any plugins/mods I can add to prevent bots from coming onto the forums? It's a pain to delete all of them / ban their ips. I'm sure it's the same people with fake IP's cause they always come back and spam the same stuff. |

Do you uise the verification questions section which are available to use?
Have you installed forum firewall and the bad behavior mod. ??? They help out a lot. :)

Ok thanks guys! I'm a little confused about all the settings though. What should the settings be for standard spam bot refusals?

I am getting the same spammers that you are but they mostly have the same IP so ban like 5 of them and u ban every single spammer another good thing is to delete some of the accounts. And also ban the internet provider. Cause most are proxies ;) . And they aren't bots they are mostly real people.
