Hi all,

I have a database from vBulletin 4 forum. Can I convert it somehow to freshly installed SMF?

Regards
Val

After migrating VBulletin 4.2 to SMF 2.0.4, the text of all posts will broken. My forum is in Persian language.

Example:
main text (in old forum (vb)):
اگه کسی نیست پروژه رو ببندیم؟
converted text (in smf):
اگه کسی نیست پروژه رو ببندیÙ...ØŸ

I think this is a charset problem, but in settings set to UTF-8 and problem stay yet.
Sorry for my bad English, any Ideas?
Thanks :)

Hello matrix.1372 and welcome to sm.org. :)

Can you check from phpMyAdmin if the messages appear corrupt?

P.S.
After you answer I'll split your messages to a new topic. ;)
