Post by: Tavsih on January 11, 2013, 08:58:51 AM

Hello,i am having a problem from 2-3 months that when i open Package Manager (Browse Mods ) this problem is coming.
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=492223
Today i wanted to uninstall a mod but when i click "uninstall " via  "Installed Packages" this came.
Quote
PHP Error Message

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 323461 bytes) in /home/a9713247/public_html/Sources/Subs-Package.php on line 2072
I think the limit of mods is reached?

How many mods do you have?

according to his other post, he only has 33 mods installed (some of which are just smiley and avatar packs)
Since I have installed over 200 mods, successfully on a forum, I think that his problem (both with the whitescreen on browse and the error on uninstall) are likely to be problems somewhere in the host configuration...

I sent a message to them ,And as a reply they said

QuoteIt seems that your script has exceeded the maximum Allowed memory limit. Unfortunately we cannot assign more memory for your PHP scripts,

It's difficult to be specific in a situation like this, but removing some modifications might help.  Your host has set the memory limit to 32mb, which, in my opinion, is quite low.

Less mods unless they will up your limit maybe for some extra cash. A new host otherwise is the likely solution.

There's no real way to fix that other than going to a new host

You can uninstall a mod manually if need be. In my signature, you can find a link regarding that. Just follow the instructions oppositely.

But I would recommend a new host as well.
