When I was researching forums on wikipedia, I noticed that SMF is not on this article...
Maybe it shouldn't be (I'm not a tech guy so I don't even know if it's relevant) but I thought I should point it out if it interested anyone...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Internet_forum_software_(ASP)
That would be because it is not written in ASP...
Aha - I knew I was missing something. Still super new to all this stuff. :-[
Just thought I would put the correct link for those who did mean to have a look at it.
Comparison of ASP forums (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Internet_forum_software_(ASP))
And that's still wrong.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Internet_forum_software_(PHP) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Internet_forum_software_(PHP)) :P (with correct URL too O:))

My post was vague. Correct the link that he intended to post. Not the link of the PHP OS projects which would have made sense :).

And you failed to do that. The closing ) is not included in the link you posted. And it would seem you don't entirely understand the nature of the anti spam defences here either.
fixed colin's link for asp
@Kindred - thanks
@Arantor - I do.
