I cant put the smileys away! I only can choose between 3 defaults...
Try Current Theme > Theme Settings > Select default smiley set for this theme, and select "No smileys" in the dropdown :)
Like i said, only 3 Themes but no "no smilyes"
You could always delete the "Smileys" directory, I s'pose. Or, just delete all the smileys in the Admin panel.
Even if you disable them, though, people can still post them, using external images. (Unless you disable the [img] tags).

Like I said, in each theme, go to the Current Theme section for that theme and where you select the default smiley set for that theme select "no smileys" ;)
