Introduction
The FixCopy mod adds your site link at the end of anything copied from your site.
Features
* Adds your site link at the end of the copied content
* Admins don't have their site link in the copied content
History
Upgraded version:
2.0 - Moved the code to external file
- When you press copy, the selected content stays selected
- The copied content keeps alignment of code and tabs
Previous version:
1.1 - Removed the language string
- XHTML Valid
1.0 - Initial release
This could get old fast for people like me who copy the text to make quotes with it, but interesting idea otherwise.
It's a highly entertaining idea and it works fine, well done.
I would just amend your mod description slightly to account for the fact it doesn't actually affect "anything copied from your site", just text blocks.
Just a brief idea maybe to add the ability to disable this for members or admins. Nice work, nikan.
Thank you all.
It's already disabled for admins. Members are also a reason for this mod.

I tend to agree with that. Members are at least 60% of the ones copying from sites.
I like this mod idea. Great job on it. :)
Thanks for the mod, really good idea!
Just for the record - seems it does not work in Opera 12.15 and IE8.
Excellent mod. I think it's lacking permissions. For example, admin chooses which member-groups are exempt from it.

I agree that would be huge.

Mod looks great, always nice to get free backlinks from people stealing your content. I'm guessing it works a bit like the Tynt mod, but less hassle?
Thanks, nice mod...
BTW, it would be nice a customizable string before the link, like the "Information from: "
(I have added by hand, editing the file... I like to do it that way anyway... but maybe other admins do not, or do not know how)
oDiv.innerHTML += "<br />\n<br />\nInformation from: <a href=" + document.location.href + ">" + document.location.href + "</a>";
Or at least handled by an item on language files, Modifications.whatever.php
Thanks, but I found that it is preferable to have only the link, so i removed the language string.
It would be nice a function, to make it work only when copying inside the forumposts ID (posts/topics content)
Hello, is a modification for 2.1 planned?
