I've found a little bug in SMF (all 1.1 version) and Mambo/Joomla Bridge.

If you try to post a php code (or html code) in BBC "CODE" tag, this is not work correctly.

not really a bug in the bridge... more like mambo, trying to be "smart"... mambo removes all html.

there is a (hack) fix for this in the sticky combined readme post
