Title: Problem installing mods

hello,

i have problem with installing mods when try get this message- "You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!"

But package directory is set to 777 and i also have tried 755...

Please help me to sort out this problem!!!

Try creating a new directory, inside "packages", named "temp".

If that doesn't cure it, slap your host and get them to give you full CHOWN ownership of the files on your site.

Whilst you're there, to save a bit of time/hassle, get them to disable "mod_security", too, coz it's crap^TM.
