This is a simple mod that add a [nobbc] button in your editor next to the code button.
This is my very first written mod and it's something I have written to thank SMF for the great work they produced.
It's adviced that you empty your cache and uninstall all older versions of this mod before you update.
What does this mod do?
There is a BBC tag in SMF that can be used for removing the formatting and displaying the used BBC tags. But there isn't a button for it. This mod inserts a button for it.

/me Whispers: Shhh, it is. Try it out
/me can't see a button for it, though.
/me Whispers: just type it :)
Oh, I know that works. :P
A button would be good, though (My Tenosynovitis and all that).

Isn't the point of this mod to provide a
button for the standard [nobbc] tag? What good does typing it prove? ???

That you aren't lazy I guess.
Mod update has been released. :3
Updated to 2.0.7
OK I have to ask since it's been bothering me. I've been on forums for over a decade and would love to know what the nobbc does?
nobbc means not to parse bbc inside it. Lets you quote any bbc you like without it being treated as bbc - and without resorting to the code tag.
OK got it, sounds like a great helpful mod.
I'm glad that I have written it for ya. :D

Just quote it. Thanks for the mod to Neko :D it would be useful indeed in here...
Don't know how I missed this but I love it and just want to say thanks Neko! :D
You are both welcome :)
Hi, I installed this in my environment 2.0.9 and am seeing the following error in the log:
http://[mysiteinfo]/forum/index.php?action=admin;area=packages;sa=install2;package=Add_nobbc_Button_1.1.zip;pid=0Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message512: parseModification(): The filename './Themes/default/languages/Modifications.english-utf8.php' is not a full path!Apply Filter: Only show the errors from this file File: /[mysiteinfo]/forum/Sources/Subs-Package.php
What do you think could be causing it?
The mod should be using $languagedir instead of a raw path to the theme folder.

Any idea of how to fix that?
I'll look into it.
