Otsikko: How can I remove my navigation bar?
Kirjoitti: bobdole2281 - elokuu 16, 2013, 02:22:36 AP
What file do I need to locate to remove my nav bar? I want to simply comment the old one out since I have made a new one.

Hello:

You need to tell us what version of SMF you are using and what the name of the template you are using.

Then hopefully we can answer the question.

Looking at this http://marveldcforum.com/index.php?topic=980.0 it seems he's using a self-made theme and he's on 2.0.4.

:)

I tried removing various blocks of code, from the:

// All the buttons we can possible want and then some, try pulling the final list of buttons from cache first.

section, in the default theme. I kept getting errors, so I gave up. :(

I'd imagine that chopping any of that off would have repercussions, elsewhere, though, wouldn't it?

Hi, if you're refering to the menu with the [home] [help] [profile] [logout] etc buttons. Then look in index.template.php of your theme for template_menu()
