Hi, I help to admin a forum with Simple Machines.
We are using 2.0.5.
Recently we've had an issue where registrations are not going through. People are not receiving activation emails, nor are people getting password emails.
Also, when I attempt to activate the accounts manually, the user still cannot access the account.
I know that this is an issue, however, I have attempted most fixes in the forums....and none of them are working. I could really use a hand since I have over 30 people waiting activation.

You say "attempt" so does it fail with an error message ? Please expand on what does or doesn't happen.
It claims the user is activated in member rolls, but the user still can't log in with the username or password given
