I am member #1 on my forum. One of the other admins got mad at me and banned me....then unbanned me ....then deleted me...or so it appears. The forum says that no such usre exists. However, when I look at the members in the database, I'm right there in position number 1. Go back to the forum and look at the members list - I don't exist. Can this be fixed?
Many thanks
What is the value of is_activated in the members table for member id 1?

I'm not sure that's actually the problem here ;)

is_activated is set to "1"
When I looked, however, I saw that I am not member #1. I am member #0. There is no member #1 even though I was the first member
There is no member 0. The first member ID is 1.
You should:
- backup the database, just in case
- change your "id_member" to 1
- login to your forum
- extra-ban your other administrators :P
- careful with existing passwords: DO change them: FTP/cPanel/MySQL, ...
I've confirmed in my test forum that you cannot login if your #1 user has ID 0.

It worked! Thank you so much. I was having another problem on the forum that this fix seemed to resolve as well. It was being discussed at http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=513388.0
I have to repeat the need for changing passwords. That "id_member" HAD to be changed via script or phpmyadmin. So this guys know some sensitive passwords.
Marking this as solved for your ;)
