Hi SMF people. I'm attempting to customize my smf site, and I'm running into an issue with a thead element. You can see it here: http://www.theflipsideforum.com/sandbox/index.php?board=1.0.
So what I want to do is add a 5px gap between the thead and the rest of the table. You can see the header over the posts looks terrible. The problem is that table elements can't have margins, from what I've learned in the last 24 hours. So I figured I'd add a tr set to 5px between the header and the table. But I can't find where that table is generated.
Is this even the right way to go about it? If anyone could shed some light on this I'd appreciate very much. Thanks!
The link to your forum looks oddly similar to this one: http://www.theflipsideforum.com/index.php?
Might be an issue with not escaping quotes in the user input. If not, I'm not sure how it has happened!
Let us know when you have this problem solved!
That's because it's the sandbox version of my site... I'm not going to develop on a live site! ;)
Still haven't made any headway, I know there is a php file that generates that table but I swear I can't find it anywhere.
MessageIndex.template.php. ;)
GAH!!! Thank you, you are a lifesaver... I didn't even realize that files in the Themes/default directory were being used. Thank you so much!
There isn't a lot of documentation about themes as far as I can tell, but you may find something useful:
