I tried it but not working in wap2 mode

You have to set it up in Features and Options->Layouts. Am using it currently ;)

then again, WAP mod very specifically excludes all graphics and other scripts and supplies things in a simple styled text view.

Basically, you are trying to turn WAP into something it is not supposed to be

Your first posts did not have any attachments...

in this one, you attached two index.php files...
those have very little to do with the WAP screens, other than identifying the incoming service...

My statement was that your entire idea is inherently wrong.

If you want a mobile friendly theme, then get a mobile friendly theme... don't try to force WAP into something that is directly contradictory to the basic design.
