Title: Firewall or other protection ??
Post by: uny2bld on March 28, 2014, 03:49:11 PM
Can someone reccomend what I should do to fully protect my forums?  Is there a software that I can download / install on the forum (or website in general) that would protect it from attacks?

I realized just how bad some hackers try to attept and get into your site with one of my joomla websites.  The software allows you to see what types of things people try to do on the backend and I was pretty suprised to see what kinds of attacks people were making on the site... it mad eme think to try and protect my smf forums...

As you must've realised, there's no such thing as a secure website. Even Google and Microsoft, with their huge processing poweer, get hacked, occasionally.

However, maybe some/one of these would be good?
