I want to set it up so a certain users posts can't be seen by anyone else but without informing them that it is happening
basically only that user (and moderators) will be able to see their posts and replies
is there a mod for this? or any suggestions on a good/SIMPLE way of implementing it?
i have a harassing troll who has been making new accounts on new proxies for 3 months... won't stop harassing
Can you not just go to their profile and view their posts, there?
ya but i don't want anyone else to be able to see their posts i mean
for them i want it to APPEAR that they can post, and reply, and that they are on the site like anyone else
but in reality i want it to hide all of their troll posts from everyone else, all the while having it appear that they are trolling but everyone is just ignoring them
How about getting your members to put them on their "Ignore" list?
There might be a mod, for what you want. I can't say that I remember seeing one. That, of course, doesn't mean that such a mod doesn't exist, by any means. :)
