Am new on smf, I have been trying to install smf shop and the smf point but all I could get in response is
"Error in Package Installation
At least one error was encountered during a test installation of this package. It is strongly recommended that you do not continue with installation unless you know what you are doing, and have made a backup very recently. This error may be caused by a conflict between the package you're trying to install and another package you have already installed, an error in the package, a package which requires another package that you don't have installed yet, or a package designed for another version of SMF."
Please, help!!!!! >:(

There's a weird explanation, for his, here:
http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Manual_installation_of_mods
Oddly, it doesn't seem to mention the parser.
Soooo... Got to the mod's download page and look just below the download link. You'll see "Manual Install Instructions for SMF". In the box, below that, select the version of SMF that you're using and hit "Parse".
It'll show you what edits the mod makes. The edits that fail, you'll need to do, yourself.
On that same page, you'll see this:

If you click that, you'll be taken to the mod's support topic, where you can get help, for that mod.
Whilst I'm here, please don't use caps-lock, when typing topic titles. It's regarded as SHOUTING as is considered to be extremely rude. ;) I've edited your post, accordingly. :)
By the way... Before you install ANY mods, you will remember my sig, won't you? (Click it, for the "How?")
