OK, just now discovering buddies and all that fun stuff. I've added the Buddy Page mod and it works as expected. Sweet. I looked at the area where buddies can be added under the profile section. Copied the "form" into BuddyPage.template.php. And it works fine. Was just curious how to affect redirectexit. When adding the buddy from Buddy Page, the buddy certainly is added, but it's redirected to what I'll call the classic buddy management page. And maybe I'm going about this all wrong. I do notice that the Add to buddy list on the user's profile page redirects to the same user profile page. I'm a little blind and need bigger glasses. Call me, Mr. Magoo.

Excellent OK. I'm not being clear eh? I had a dream last night where I didn't really care so much for the classic Add Buddy page, so instead I added the mod, Buddy Page. I could have certainly asked for help in the support topic for the mod, but the mod is working as designed. I think what I'm going to do next is just change this:
// Back to the buddy list!
redirectexit('action=profile;area=lists;sa=buddies;u=' . $memID);

to this and be done with it. :)
// Back to the buddy page!
redirectexit('action=buddypage');
