Title: Images directory structure
Post by: bananaman on August 08, 2003, 11:31:17 AM
Question:
Will Simple Machines split images into nice directory structure? My old YaBBImages directory became bit of a dumping ground for button icons, folder icons, YaBBC tag icons, etc.

I would like to see an improved stucture to assist my file management of custom images!

eg
images/avatars
images/user_avatars (uploaded by forum members)
images/smilies
images/buttons
images/icons
images/misc
etc.

Then I could easily switch between different button sets. :D

currently, images are stored in the Theme directory, and the subdirs are:
- bbc
- languages (dutch, english, german, etc)
- post
- smilies
- thread
- tree
the structure may change in the final version
