Dear SMF developers,
I am having the same issue with SMF v2.0.9 - confirmation mail, newsletter - nothing is being sent, but the forum says "confimration mail sent!". The queue is empty. Newsletter service acts like the mail is sent, but it actually is not. I tried PHP_default, and STMP method. I will subscribe to this topic to keep in touch. Please, fix this as soon as possible.

@WoAnerges, that is a different issue. Your forum sends NOTHING, which is probably a configuration error on your server (if using PHP) or a mail configuration error if using SMTP.
