Print Page - Last active only showing at users who are logged in

Is it correct / known that 2.1 only show the "last active" information in a user's profile that is or was actually active within the time span that active users are shown?
As soon as they log off, and disappear from the active users list, this "Last active" entry also is hidden from their profile.

remove line 336 from Profile.template.php
