Title: How to install a new language?
Post by: caver911 on January 09, 2017, 10:00:52 AM
Hi
I am new to SMF.

How do I install a new language - manually upload of files or just uploading zipped file package? Do I need to replace old language files or possible to have both?Any area in administration to do this?

If there is an installation guide I would appreciate a link to guide me.

Thanks

If you're using 2.1, we don't have additional languages available for that version yet since it's still in beta.

If you're using 2.0, see Installing a Language (http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/How_do_I_add_a_new_language)

The version I installed is SMF 2.0.13. So it says in the footer.
