Not really, most people that want such functionality just go to Pinterest. There's really not a lot of call for it in my experience with forums.
Having a "rectangular space" to put pictures up sounds like an awesome mod to have on each member profile. Thence, a pinboard mod. :) I'll have to find a way to make one myself..
