Title: SMF 2.0.13 - Just a wording issue
Post by: KurtS on January 17, 2017, 11:40:00 AM
Not really a bug, but a wording issue in 2.0.
When you send a PM, the software presents a checkbox "Save a copy in my outbox".
Problem is there is no outbox. There is a sentbox (labeled Sent Items).  This has caused some confusion.
Can the wording be changed?
Thanks!
Kurt

It's not going to be fixed in 2.0.x as standard because of the logistics of fixing it in a patch (and it's not a bug as such and so wouldn't normally qualify anyway for 2.0.x)

It won't be fixed in 2.1 because the option no longer exists, it's now permanently on.

Glad it is permanently on makes a lot of sense. One of the first things I always change.

If you want to change it on your forum, look in /Themes/default/languages/PersonalMessage.english.php, edit this -

$txt['pm_save_outbox'] = 'Save a copy in my outbox';
