I'm starting a new thread because this one http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=547513.0 went way OT. :)
I am using responsive curve thread and I understand where and how to change the 'stars' (ensure they are in the right directory etc)
I don't like the 'blocks' that are default for responsive curve. Where can I find alternatives?
Could I just make my own custom ones? I presume so, but if so what format and size do they need to be?

You can use whatever you like... put the image files in the images directory and call their names in the board settings.
It may be obvious but Kindred typo'ed 'put'. You may want to keep the sizes relatively close to what the defaults are so your images fit on all themes.

I use the FamFamFam Silk (http://www.famfamfam.com/lab/icons/silk/) icons extensively on my forums (this set has some stars) but you may also find what you want in the Fugue Icons (http://p.yusukekamiyamane.com/)

I just after some stars of the same size as the standard forum 'stars' but umm, star shaped :laugh:
Need 4 colours eg red green blue yellow as per standard ideally.
