Title: Cannot access one specific topic
Post by: damdim on February 14, 2017, 07:52:23 AM
Hi, I have a forum running SMF 2.0.13 and something weird happened. A user created a topic, but when you try to read it, then an error 500 is occurred.
If you go to this user's profile and check his topics you can see the topic, but you cannon enter it, f.e. to edit, delete it etc. This is the topic:

Anyone knows what is wrong?
Thank you in advance

you would need to try to modify that topic, as you can see below this is the format you need to put the URL in to modify it. once you get in the modify view can you see if there is an attachment?

if that is true then you need to install http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=4111

of course you can remove the attachment to make the topic able to viewed.

Thanks for the reply. You were correct. It had a jpg attachment, I removed it and now the topic is accessible.
I will also install the mod to tweak this setting.
Thank you again :-)
