I am looking for a way to add a Comment to an individual post, rather than a reply to the whole topic?

Example: Topic Pizza

in short.... no.

We do not do threaded view...
threaded view is exclusionary and not encouraging to a wider conversational tone (which is what forums are, as opposed to blogs and social media timelines)

You could perhaps use an alternative if you really want it.
There is a Disqus mod available which does what you want in some way: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3211.
