Title: Kudos and need for a bit of advice
Post by: Aye Aye on March 19, 2017, 02:01:02 AM

Greetings;

Some among the support Staff here will definitely recognize my nick. I have been troubling folks here off and on considerably.

I have used SMF since 2008 and progressed from 1.0.7 to 2.0.13. On a whim I made clean installs of 2.0.13 for my Forums. I must congratulate the team for the splendid work on this latest version. I have 9 different Forums working on 2. 0.13, all similarly configured, all pretty heavy in textual, graphics and audio visual content, all using 14 modifications, and there haven't been any hiccups so far. Great Work.

Now to the advice I need.

Before the release of SMF 2.0.13 I had become disillusioned with SMF and had created a number of Forums with ElkArte 1.0.9, a Forums software somewhat similar to SMF.

Is there some way to immigrate my ElkArte Forums to SMF 2.0.13

Kindly advise.

Thanks and regards.

You're best bet would be to see if someone made a converter for that in this board: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=20.0

If not then you can try requesting one. That is as much as I know.
