Hello,
On my freshly installed SMF 2.0.13 Email Activation is not working. Saying with the other words if I register and enter my email it says that activation link has been sent to my email. But after mins/hrs of waiting email isnt coming. So what's the problem. Anyone knows what's the reason of not receiving an email? Here is my "Registration Settings" screenshot:

The activation messages may be getting marked as spam/junk by your email account provider and if you have your mail client configured to automatically delete spam/junk messages you won't ever receive them.
Also, if you are using a web based email account (eg, hotmail, gmail) to register you may be able to find the activation messages in the spam/junk mail folders if you access the email account using a web browser.

Yes, indeed. I've found my Email Activation Links in spam folder. What to do so they don't appear in the spam but in the regular section of email? Btw that was gmail I was using.
For you? White-listing the address. For your users, nothing you can do
Well, there's a bunch of things that can be done but it's unlikely your host would support the best ones.
Well, there must be a way to do something about this. Then how does other pages/forums don't get their email link activation in spam/junk folder?
I've sent a support ticket to SORBS (Spam and Open Relay Blocking System) to guide me on how to resolve my issue.
Also what does my webhost has to do with it? If it has something with it then what should I do regarding to them? I believe they could assist me with anything.
Any advice from you would be of great help since it's important for me that my users register through email activation link to prevent fake e-mails.
Kind regards.
Ask them whether they can support DKIM signing of outbound emails.
Actually, wait a minute, how do you have emails set up? If you're using a domain but sending through Gmail, odds are that looks like spam outright.
