I've upgraded my forum to the latest version and now I'm having some unusal problems. Hope you can help me.
for example, If I wrote :" test test"
I'm getting this:
test
/>
/>test
/>
/>
My forum is now full of those "/>"
I'm using custom theme. Any clues?

Do you have any smileys with a blank (or space character) code as their trigger?
No I don't..
If I open new topic and just wrote " test" in two rows, I'm getting that sign..

Nope, it's disabled
I've restored all files including database to previous version, but the problem is still here.. ???

It looks like you made some manual edit at sone point... And did the edit incorrectly

Likely the broken edit is in Display.template.php
Just to let you know, the problem was in this setting:

I've disabled it and now it's OK.. although no custom smileys

then the issue is with one of the codes you have defined for your custom simileys.
Yes, but it was working for 10 years like that..until yesterday.
What version were you previously on, prior to upgrade?
2.0.13 and I'm still on it right now.. I had to restore complete backup and it wasn't working.
something went wrong with one of those codes, not sure why but at least the forum is working as it should right now.
I'm staying at 2.0.13 :D
