Post by: eskie on July 11, 2017, 12:27:31 PM
my forum currently looks like the image below

i'd like to have the childboards lined up from left to right, rather than stacked atop one another. how do i do this?

You can try this mod -

https://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2294

You have a modified board index, so don't know if it would work for you.

they have that basically, they want it like the default theme does instead.

That would require some modification to board index template.  Don't recognize the theme, but may be best to try support from theme author.

right, the theme's just the default one with modifications such as coloring and a two column board index as shown is all- i coded it myself. could you direct me to what i'd need to edit, possibly? it's the same theme as the default as i said, with very minor changes to the coding.

the default theme does not have the child boards show up that way. are you sure you are not using a custom theme or the above linked mod?

Tidy boards may work anyway, if it's set to maximum columns that fit horizontally.  If that's Curve, it's been extensively modified, no way to know unless you try it.
