Is it possible to migrate the Data Base ..posts,photos...to a new forum with a different owner/admin and hosting site?
How would I go about doing it with security?.
Anyone?
Database does not contain photos, pics are posted either as external links or uploaded as attachments to forum /attachments directory. You can move the entire forum by backing up the forum files and database, uploading them to the new server, and running repair_settings.php (http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Repair_settings.php).
