Title: Rejecting conection, only a few members
Post by: showngo on November 04, 2017, 07:45:11 PM
I have a few members that can not connect to the forum.  No 500 error, they get "server rejecting connection"
I am going to call the hosting company but with 20k members, its only a few.  They are not on any ban trigger also.

Anyone run into this?

Tony

I had this a couple times before because some members were reloading too many pages too often, and fell on the anti-DDOS measures. If this is the case it may clear up when your users' IP changes. The host later changed the configs and it stopped happening.

Then yep, this is something you should reach out to your hosting company about.

With 30k members it was just funny that a handful all got the same error to connect at the same time. They still get a instant "times out"  and the ones that I talked to have no updated the CPU (That they know of)
