Just wondering if. Looking at the Simple Machines Community Forum - Info Centre, the number of recent posts shown there is currently set at five. They disappear pretty fast, so any chance you could set it to eight, or perhaps ten please?
we dont increase it as i understand it is one of the heavy queries and is best to be set at 5 especially due to the size of the forum here. maybe https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?action=recent would be of more use to you?

Might have been wise to have added a note or limit to that setting.

To disable the recent posts bar set this value to zero. "
