Title: Display msg= to user x on his next login
Post by: SMiFFER on April 02, 2018, 07:51:03 AM
Is there a mod doing the following?

Have a simple csv-file such as
USERID, MSGID

So when user "#USERID" logs in next time, he is shown message "msg=#MSGID"

I would find that very practical!

Is there such a mod?

If not, would anyone like to do such a mod?

If not, would anyone advise to get that achieved?

Cheers!

Let me make an example of what I tried to describe in post #01:

Have a simple csv-file such as
USERID, MSGID

So when user "#USERID" logs in next time, he is shown message "msg=#MSGID"

Example with names instead of userIDs for the sake of the argument:

SMiFFER, 1000
br360, 43
Arantor, 0

So SMiFFER gets msg=1000 displayed on next login, br360 gets msg=43 and Arantor gets no msg displayed.

Can somebody help me achieving this please?

So this is required immediately after a successful login?

If the member stays logged in and never logs out, when would this message appear?

Hey Shambles.

Only once directly after loggin in.
The entry could then even be removed from that CSV-list, but that can come later.

Pity, I found this a practical idea.
