Only change I recall is new ad tags from a client, but not sure..
Happens to me in Firefox and in IE.. Have to reload the page and start scrolling sometimes to get it to appear..
Any Input would be greatly appreciated...

Seems to work fine in my Firefox but if it's sporadic that may not mean anything. Does it do it in Chrome?
Have you given any thought to upgrading to 2.0.15?

O boy.. The upgrade scares me.. Look.. layout... Modes.. The site has a Joomla matching home page. Been around over 10 years..
facebook hurt it but hasn't killed it.. But I know if people are losing the scroll bar they are just bailing.. though I haven't gotten any complains "Yet"
I turned off all the ad locations. and didn't help.. When I play with the font and page side selector top right sometime it will come back..
At some point years ago I believe I did something to those to lock it in to the center one
And nothing in error logs in forum or server..
You'll need to consider an upgrade - 1.1.x doesn't get any more security fixes and as/when your host upgrades PHP, SMF 1.1.x will also stop working...
Well just realized, it happens on my Joomla home page also.. So back to square one..
Is it just you or are others seeing the problem?
Well I haven't gotten any complains.. but happens on my lap top also..
