Introduction

---

It is a simple modification that adds 2 buttons to share via whatsapp and telegram. It takes the link of the subject you are looking at and when the application is detected it allows you to select who you can send it to.

Compatibility

---

Prepared to work with the branch 2.0.x of SMF, it is tested only with the default theme. if you have a custom theme, you should adapt by looking for a similar line.
+Now also works with SMF 2.1 with the default theme!

I hope you enjoy it, I'm going to investigate why Facebook usually changes followed by its APIs making it somewhat complicated to keep up with it sometimes. You may create another exclusive modification of facebook to be able to work it better but you can see these modifications while: Share This Topic (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2111)!

Do you have any advertising blocker in your browser? What theme do you use? A link? to view the site.

I had not planned to use it but by order of about 30-40 people, I got down to work ... It is also true that many are handled by whatsapp when sharing content, so I designed it to reach more people (vague thought).

What theme are you using? you may not find that line, attach your Display.template.php!

Buttons don't display because all the images in /Themes/default/images/icons are .gif and your 2 buttons are .png.

Would that matter?

Where did you get it from? because the images with .png and at the time of installation is displayed correctly.

Thanks, i tested it. However the buttons appeared under the profile area of the poster, which ma be confusing to the guest that the buttons is actually for sharing the post they have read.

It is what I suspected when making some changes I have noticed is not entirely correct, give me a little time to be able to make tests and place it in the original zone for all public. Sorry for the disturbances!

Now the buttons must be displayed correctly with the file that happened to me, even if I probe it with a clean one and it works as it should. Anything you tell me and I will look at it...

Try the file attached in the previous message, it would work without problems and visualize it correctly :).

Hello!


Tried installing this on my SMF 2.1 RC2 forum, but when I try to install it it says:


The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF

Help?   :)

I install it perfectly it may be it must update my files but it does not appear to you to emulate any version of 2.1? Apply a change to the display.template.php should not give problems but I will look at it as soon as I can :).

Done is fixed, the new package 1.2 should be able to install without problems!
