Maybe some wise developer will create such a modification for SMF 2.0?

Thank you for the suggestion. This is not a large amount, but I hope that someone will create such a free modification for SMF.
That mod will never become free.
I just had to adapt some parts of the installer and it works without problems in SMF 2.0.15 emulating the installation if you wish. I have it working on my site with these small modifications and it did not give me problems.

Of course that same modification, I moved some things in the installer and it worked. It is simply to move some things since there is variation in certain lines of code which can not be found.
