This is my first post. Well, actually I did another first post but, alas, I don't see it anywheres.
I am an admin on a simple machines forum for women. We have about 800 members and it used to be a very active site. Even though the subject is still very relevant, the activity has died way down.
I'd like to freshen up the look of our site. Is there more I can do besides change the colors? Can we add the ability to "like" after the posts?
I would change software but we have a library here that has taken us 10 years to build up and I don't want to lose it. Thanks.
you can add all sorts of features -- look on the mod site -=-https://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/
you can also change the theme (which is more than just changing colors, in some cases -- look on the theme site -=-https://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/
You should get themes from the theme site or if you know a little CSS you can customise it yourself or pay someone to just the way you like it. I would try Upwork for freelance stuff like that though
