I have an xls sheet with 1000 rows. Can i create 1000 posts automatically?

There is nothing built in to support this, it would have to be implemented from scratch for you.

I did one years ago https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=555200.0 that could be adapted.

I would save the xls to csv file which is easier to work with.

they mean to import the data from excel into many posts, not to post a table into a post.

How difficult this is will depend on what's in that spreadsheet...

Member names? IDs???

Also, Excel does some funky things with UTF8...
