Nice, so this mod works only on registration, not after registration if user decide to use later? And is there similar or the same mod for 2.0.x ?
Correct just on registration. Could be adapted for login and SMF 2.0.x
I might do the SMF 2.0.x one soon.

Very useful, spammers are targetting SMF nowadays so much.
Installed the latest version a few days ago with no errors on install but just now found an issue when selecting Admin>members>view all members or search for members. The following error is reported: syntax error, unexpected '<'
Removed this mod and the Admin members listing then shows as normal.
The error log however does not show anything amiss.
Have tested this on a new install and still shows the error.
Running SMF 2.0.15 on PHP 7.1.30
Can you attach your sources/Subs-Members.php file.

Forum owner is able to register using vpn, so am I (cleared browser first, using ProtonVPN). Any way to determine if mod is enabled?
What's up with this mod? We're able to register with Express and Proton vpns, and Tor. Uninstalled/reinstalled with no errors, doesn't work at all. >:(
It attempts to block them if they pass headers that are like vpn if they don't then won't get blocked.

Safe to ignore you can remove the strings manually from the file though.

I'd be interested to know though how this mod works ie if the user gets sent to another page which says registration has failed or if they are unable to complete the registration and get an error message. Also is there any record of how many its cuahgt?
There is no logging with this mod.
If detected it just says
You can not signup for this forum using a proxy or a vpn service. Please disable then try to register again
