Good day,
I couldn't find anything about this in the manual or any other threads.
When I lock a topic, I expect that one cannot reply to that topic. But in my forum installation locked topics can still be replied to. Is that a bug or are certain settings necessary in order to make locked topics really locked, so that a reply is no longer possible?
I'm running version 2.0.15
Cheers,
Thilion
Moderators, Global mods, Admins will still be able to post in those topics. Are you saying regular users can also post in locked topics?
Uhm, ok, I just saw the subtle note at the top of the locked topic saying that the topic is locked and that only Administrators and Moderators can reply. Those who reported the "problem" to me were Moderators, and I as the Admin also were able to. So, it's not a bug, it's a feature :-)
Thanks for the quick reply!
The theory is that if you're a moderator, you could unlock the topic, reply, relock it. This just saves you the hassle.
