Is there a way to make subscriptions on SMF like on most WP site to:
I.E.
OPTION 1
SILVER OPTION: 3 MONTHS $10
OPTION 2
GOLD OPTION: 6 MONTHS $25
OPTION 3
PLATINIUM OPTION: 12 MONTHS $40
OPTION 4
LIFETIME OPTION: LIFETIME $150
any help please or better still would someone be brave enough to do a demo smf site video tutorial on how to set up a paid subscription and how to set up membership options...as generally found on wp site: "1 month" "3 months "or our "best offer" and paypal setup?
There is a built in Paid Subscriptions with paypal
Found under Core Features in 2.0 to enable.
you cant choose what name you want to call it as per my message for help, or am i missing something?
Sure you can call it whatever you want. "Subscription Name:"
you can name the forum , but you cant choose they type of membership ie :
a free but restricted membership
a free membership
or
the creating the types of subscription you want ie:
1 month
3 month
6 month
12 months
or a life time membership

Not mine, it's one of the forums I support. Did you try logging in with Testmem as posted above? You can see how it's set up in Profile. Donate button top right is just a template edit using PayPal code, it's not part of paid subscriptions. "Subscription" was changed to "Donation", that's mostly in language files. The rest is core Paid Subs.
