Hi
I have an SMF forum at V2.017
It has a few mods and uses the default theme.
I wanted to update Tapatalk to the latest version as the existing version no longer works.
When I went to uninstall Tapatalk I got error (please see attachments)
Am I correct in saying that I can uninstall the mod through SMF package manager and manually edit the files by replacing the text that is shown in the "replace pages (SMF tap issue 2.png)?
Thank you for any and all help.
Regards
You can go about this in 2 ways. One is to uninstall it manually. By clicking the edit button, you will see the precise changes that need to be done in those files that throw the error.
Or you can do it by refreshing your forum files with a fresh copy of the large 2.0.17 upgrade package. Note that doing it this way will uninstall all the custom mods that you have installed.

Hi
So I would manually edit the file by replacing it with the text shown? Before or after uninstalling the mod?
Thank you for the help

I think it is best to do it after you uninstall the mod.
