Title: Show total of topics/posts on boardindex (board + all subboards)
Post by: shadav on July 30, 2020, 04:42:25 AM
Am I missing a setting somewhere?

on my board index it says that the board has 22 topics and 22 posts....but the board has a lot of sub boards, in fact there's more like 500 topics/posts....

how can I display the total number of all topics.posts within a board + all of it's sub boards/sub sub boards?

[edit] I do have Count child's posts in parent's totals checked......

that does not include grand child boards. if your boards are grand child you would have to move them out of that position to get them to count.

depending on how busy you site gets, it's eventually going to be an issue.
