Title: [solved] Correcting the forum's links
Post by: CoderLanie on April 08, 2021, 07:53:40 PM
I have a full website and will be using integration to login from my site to the SMF forum. The forum is in it's own directory; however, all the links are using the wrong URL path. For instance: my website is mythingwebsite and the forum is mythingwebsite/forum/  all the links say "mythingwebsite/index..." whatever comes after.. board, login or whatever... How do I add the /forum/ path to the URL?

~~~
Never mind. I solved it, but for future searchers like me:
The answer is the QueryString.php file under Sources.
did you move your forum after setting it up?
using the repair settings tool will help fix pathways
https://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Repair_settings.php
not sure what you changed in the querystring but you should run repair settings and fix all the pathways
if you changed code in QueryString, then you have broken the system in order to correct a misconfiguration on your part in the first place.
