Been looking for a mod so I can use my own icon for each board, but do I real need a mod?
Been looking at the board images default/theme/images/ at present I think there are 3 used for on, off and off2, not sure if there's a on2 as not on my computer at the moment
As I want to use the same images for all boards can anybody see a problem with just replacing the current ones, I will of course back them up?

You can replace off.png, on.png, on2.png (child boards) with your images, I've done it on many forums.
there is no off2, but there is an on2.
on = new posts in the board
on2 = new posts in a child of that board
off = no new posts in the board or the child boards.
no mod needed.
in one theme, I replaced the images with radius circles defined by CSS.
there is a mod that actually does that and uses fafaicons to fill the image
