I have a 1.0.5 DB with no current install. I would like to have a 1.1 board when I am done. Logic would have it that to get there I would have to install 1.0.5 with my current 1.0.5 DB then go through the update process. Can I skip a step? For example, can I put the 1.1 update package over the 1.1 install package and then hit the upgrade script? Or, can I just go to the upgrade script and skip the original install? Or am I stuck rebuilding 1.0.5 and then upgrading? Thanks in advance.

As long as Settings.php contains all the correct information, you can just plop a 1.1 upgrade package on there and run upgrade.php.
